According to Audi, the new vehicle will get the same styling as before – focusing on the newest technology, sharp and sleek design, and also new lighting. You can also expect the new A7 to look the same as the A6 (as it is always the case) but expect different body and more sophisticated equipment to improve the driving performance and experience.
Price and Release Date
It is highly likely that the new A7 will be coming as the same time of the launch of the sedan line. So, open your eyes for one of the many events of European Motor Show happening at the late 2017. Availability at dealerships will only happen starting at the beginning of 2018.
For the price, expect an increase – considering that the new ride will be coming with more advanced technologies and newer platform. However, Audi will try their best not to increase the price too much. The trim level for the 2018 Audi A7 may start from around $75,000 – which is actually costlier than the regular CLS and almost similar to the Panamera.
Slight changes and updates can be expected from the new A7, with wider radiator grille and side narrow headlights. The long liftback will likely remain similar with the back side getting redesigned license plate arrangement and new taillights. There will also be a released retractable spoiler that will somehow make the overall design look different.
The biggest changes may be happening on the dashboard with the new addition of Virtual Cockpit that is filled with electronic arrangements. For the remaining parts of the interior cabin in 2018 Audi A7, the same style and look should be expected – looking similar to the A6.
Engine and Specs
For this model, it is likely that Audi will be using the naturally aspirated V6 turbocharged engine. When it is paired up with the automatic 8 speed transmission and the all wheel Quattro driving system, you can expect more responsive and smoother driving experience. Not to mention that this A7 will be coming with MLB Evo platform which will affect the weight. That’s why, you can expect the new 2018 Audi A7 to come with an improved fuel economy system and better handling.
