Audi has always been proud of their RS5, resulting in them producing the new 2018 Audi RS5 which is claimed to be better than before. Audi has a lot of grandeur plans for the ride, including the included power, improved performance and comfort, and also a better styling. Will they be able to pull it off just perfectly? I guess we just have to wait and see.
Audi A5 and S5 lines have always been the hallmark of Audi’s achievement and success – and they have made a solid improvement within the last 10 years. So far, the new 2018 Audi RS5 is still in the production and testing progress, with some of the spyshots have been revealed here and there – without the exact design and models of the ride.
But you can be sure that the new ride should be good looking, considering that the RS5 will be sharing with the same B9 platform used in the A4 sedan model. So far, the RS5 has been considered a worthy competitor against Mercy AMG C63 and M4 BMW so you can be sure about the overall construction and performance. For the new RS5, expect the ride to be wider, lower, and also longer than the current sedan counterpart.
According to some sources and also the available spyshots, the new 2018 Audi RS5 will be coming with aggressive look, thanks to the redesigned front side and also the rear fascia – not to mention the unique and special wheels. It is safe to say that the new RS5 will be modern and evolutionary – if not sophisticated.
Although with the camo, you can still see that the general contour and form of the bodywork are basically the same as before. The front side and the back end are having restyled model. On the front side, you can see bigger corner air intake with lower chin spoiler. There are also single exhaust pipes with dual single exit style for the back. After all, the S models always come with quad exhaust tips. There is also a modified bumper but still retaining the S5 models. Expect conservative styling, as it is the signature style of Audi.
There hasn’t any official information about the powertrain but it is likely that they are going to use six cylinder, which is similar to Panamera’s styling. It is also possible that the ride will be coming with four wheels, possible also all wheel Quattro driving system. The new 2018 Audi RS5 should be introduced around March 2017 during Geneva Auto Show.
