Although Beemer is quite sure about the upcoming release of their new 2018 BMW 4 Series, some people may have a different opinion. Some people even say that they physical changes may not be visible but it should be felt.
Since BMW has released so many different models for almost similar models and types, sometimes it is easy to get lost in the midst of confusion. The various ranges with similar performance and appearances will do that to you. And the 4 Series has come with a rather confusing design. If you hear the name, it is the Grand Coupe so it is obvious that it is a coupe. However, it is also coming with the 4 door configuration so people often misunderstand it as the sedan. – which is often related to the 3-series model with its sleeker and lower roofline. And as if it weren’t enough, the rear glass with distinct trunk design makes it a hatchback. So, basically, the 4 series is the combination of a hatchback, a sedan, and a coupe. And Beemer won’t change anything for the new model of 2018 BMW 4 Series.
If you want to look closely, the car incorporates redesigned headlights with the LED technology and hexagonal structure. The LED foglights are located under the lower side fascia. The Luxury model has stretching lower air intake while the Sport model has a sculpted three sections air intake. This car is using the 18 inch wheels and also 19 inch types. The colors for the exterior sides are Blue Snapper Rocks and Orange Sunset. These two colors weren’t offered before.
Besides the colors on the outside, new colors are also used on the inside of 2018 BMW 4 Series. The seats covered in Dakota leather is available in various colors, such as Cognac, White Ivory, and Blue Midnight. If you choose the Executive package, you will get the virtual instrument cluster whose layout will be different – depending on which driving mode you have selected. There is also the revised iDrive with six tiles on the central screen display.
Price and Release Date
BMW hasn’t said anything about their upcoming release for this type but it is highly likely that they are going to introduce the new model lines by the end of 2017 – during one of those international events. The new 2018 BMW 4 Series should be made available in March with no exact price tag.
