With the news about 2018 Cadillac CTS release, it is hoped that the new sedan will be coming with the needed promise and improvement. After all, it would be a shame if such a good looking, stylish, and luxurious sedan is going without the needed updates and improvements. Hopefully, Cadillac is being smart about their new model development because it will determine the basic usage and enjoyment of the driving experience.
Cadillac is said to design the new 2018 Cadillac CTS as the sporty luxurious ride and they are adding the aluminum race pedals to enhance the racing style factor. In the end, the CTS will have the sporty feel – something that Caddy has been wanting for. However, not everyone is happy with such arrangement. Hopefully, when Cadillac really brings out the new design for the CTS, they are doing it in the smartest way without compromising the overall performance and power of the sedan.
Price and Release Date
There is no official announcement or release about the CTS release date but it is predicted that they should be ready at dealerships right in the middle 2017 – the latest to be in third quarter of 2017. For the price tag, it is expected to start from $46,000 for the base trim. Of course, you will have to spend more for the higher levels.
Again, there hasn’t been any official confirmation and release about the details of the engine. But rumor has it that the 2018 Cadillac CTS will be coming with V6 engine with 3.6 liter capacity that is delivering 300 bhp. Unfortunately, not everyone is satisfied with the outcome because for them, having the outcome should be reaching at least 400 bhp to reach that impressive state. However, there is also a rumor that the new CTS will be coming with twin turbo 2.0 liter engine that will produce 270 bhp – for the base trim, of course.
Interior Cabin and Exterior Look
For the interior cabin, it is possible that Caddy will be using Brembo brakes, Recaro sport seats, and other features that will improve both functions and also comfort of the ride.
For the exterior look, expect the redesigned grille, bumper, and also headlights – including the signature Cadillac vertical tail lamps. For the overall construction, the new 2018 Cadillac CTS sedan will be lighter beause of the carbon fiber and aluminum combination.
