A lot of people have ecstatic about the upcoming 2018 Ford Bronco, considering that such a powerful ride has been absent from today’s auto industry – and it is such as shame. But don’t you worry as Ford confirms that they are going to make a new Bronco with a better performance, a better look, and definitely a better functionality. So, what should we expect from such a powerful ride, anyway?
After the model has disappeared from the auto industry for almost twenty years, it is no wonder if the comeback news is refreshing for the auto enthusiasts. Bronco, after all, has always been associated with solid stance and sturdy construction. The performance is good and it is the kind of ride that will make you feel at ease when you are on the road.
Although there hasn’t been any official release about the car – what it will look like, what kind of specs it houses, etc – the new 2018 Ford Bronco will be using the same chassis and platform as the Ranger. And since Ford is competing against Wrangler, it is a sure thing that they are trying their best to deliver the same solidity and ruggedness of the Raptor.
Just recently, Ford is releasing the Everest, which is a crossover with Ranger concept. Rumor has it that the Bronco may be designed based on the Everest with a twist. But if Ford wants to take their competition with the Wrangler seriously, they won’t do it as they know that such thing is going old. The possible scheme is that Ford may design a crossover with two or even four door arrangement based on the Everest and add a little touch up for the new 2018 Ford Bronco. But then again, it is all still a plan and there is no definitive thing about it.
Rumor has it that the new Bronco may get the inline four turbocharged 2.3 liter engine for the base option. This one is able to deliver 250 hp of power. For the higher trims, it may come with naturally aspirated V6 engine or the V6 twin turbo 2.7 liter engine, delivering around 325 hp of power.
Price and Release Date
The new Bronco is expected to sell at around $25,000 for the base model. The exact release date is unknown but the new 2018 Ford Bronco is expected to come by the end of 2017.
