2018 Jeep Wrangler: The Anticipated Updates

Although Jeep hasn’t said anything about their upcoming 2018 Jeep Wrangler production, rumors have been flying around concerning the line – mostly because auto enthusiasts have been curious about the new production of Wrangler – rumor has it that Jeep will retain the classic style while improving power and performance at the same time. So, what can you expect from the new Wrangler, anyway?

Jeep loyal fans and Wrangler hardcore enthusiasts are always looking for the new improvement and updates for their favorite model and yet they don’t really want the vehicle to have a drastic exterior change. It is a good thing that the new 2018 Jeep Wrangler will be coming with some updated cosmetic touch up without doing a drastic major changes on the exterior profile.

As it was said before, Jeep itself hasn’t confirmed about their new production for the Wrangler but the leaked information comes from JLWranglerforums site consisting of hardcore Jeep fans. According to them, the next generation Wrangler will come with code name Wrangler Unlimited with a slight exterior update but with a boost of mechanical improvements.

If you take a look at the new rendering image of the new 2018 Jeep Wrangler and the current model, there are some slight differences that you can reveal. First of all, the new Wrangler will remain using the solid construction frame with removable doors and roof, still retaining the boxy characteristic. It is definitely exuding the aggressive and masculine effect that Jeep has wanted.  Moreover, you will see a new vent behind the front side fender, most likely designed to improve aerodynamics. The fender itself is incorporating the LED horizontal running daytime lights with redesigned front bumper.

As you can see from the new rendering images and the construction of the new Wrangler, it seems that Jeep has been tweaking around with some parts and changing their layout and placement. Mechanical updates have yet been revealed; let alone announced for the official confirmation.

Although there hasn’t been any official release from Jeep, it is likely that the new Wrangler will still be using the V6 Pentastar engine but there is going to be another option of inline four turbocharged engine. Those engines will be paired with manual six speed transmission or the automatic eight speed type.

Everyone is waiting in anticipation. Hopefully, the new 2018 Jeep Wrangler won’t be disappointing and Jeep should be doing a good job.
