The upcoming 2018 Mazda CX5 will be the second generation that is set with all the great packages – power, styles, performance, and comfort. It was first introduced in 2013 and it has made an impressive outcome. Combining the design KODO language and Skyactiv system which is focusing on the fuel efficiency technology, you will definitely get an artistic and stylish crossover with affordable tag price. Will it drive and perform well? You bet it will. Will it be fashionable and good looking? Oh yes, absolutely.

The concept ride of the 2018 Mazda CX5 has been shown during Los Angeles Motor Show back then in 2016 and it is planned to be available at dealerships and showrooms around spring 2017 – or is it probably 2018? Since there hasn’t been any official confirmation from the company, all options are still open.

Although Mazda hasn’t said much about the details of the work, they say that it will be likely three different engines used for this vehicle. The car will be launched first in Japan before it is made available all over the world, with the options of a diesel and two gas units. You can choose between the inline four engine with 2.0 liter and 2.5 liter capacity, delivering 155 hp of power and 184 hp of power. For the diesel type, enjoy the 2.2 liter capacity that is set for American auto market. For the diesel type, there hasn’t been any confirmation about the output but it is likely that it delivers 173 hp of power.

It is a good thing that Mazda is being reasonable with the new CX5. They are able to make something better and improved and yet they aren’t overdoing the whole thing. Expect new paint too for this line, the Red Soul Crystal, and you can choose whether you want the Red Soul or Gray Machine finish. Still curious about the new 2018 Mazda CX5?
