Armada is definitely a tough SUV but what kind of improvement can you expect from the new 2018 Nissan Armada? It’s about time that the full size SUV is getting a refreshment after it has been dormant for several years. Nissan seems to be busy with some redesigned works for some of their lines – and with the Armada will be included in the list, you should expect a better touchups for the SUV.

Nissan has officially confirmed that they are going to make some redesigned work for the Armada. And since the Titan is going to get some redesigned plan, it is possible that both of the variants will be sharing platforms although they may come in different segments. With the SUV and the trucks are in the production stage, there will be possibility of parallel development as well as similarities. Although the physical changes for the 2018 Nissan Armada has been confirmed, it is unclear whether it will get updates on the power and machine too.

Rumor has it that the new Armada will be coming with completely different styles and dimensions, including shorter wheelbase. The chassis will be different as well but that’s so far information that Nissan is willing to give. Auto enthusiasts believe that the headlights, side panels, bumpers (possibly front and back), and grille will get some of the major updates which will affect the overall look of the SUV. It is also possible that the designer will be changing the model of the roof and also the hood.

For the interior cabin, the new 2018 Nissan Armada is going to experience some changes too. Besides the improved features, comfort, and also convenience, there are some higher advance that you can expect from the new vehicle. Better access to the console center will be improved and there will be newer buttons and display screen on the dashboard to keep everyone’s engaged. The SUV comes with three rows seating arrangement and the third one has 60/40 split system for better cargo storage.

If Nissan won’t change the engine, the new Armada will be using the same unit as the current one, which is the big V8 engine with 5.6 liter capacity that delivers 320 hp of power. When such a power is paired with improved braking system, suspension, and transmission, the SUV will be more responsive, better to drive, more comfortable, and definitely more powerful.

For this SUV, the engine will be matched with auto five speed transmission box and front wheel driving system. Hopefully, the new 2018 Nissan Armada will be coming with AWD and also manual gearbox.
