When you look at the image of 2018 Nissan Rogue, you see a solid and sturdy construction with stylish and fashionable touch. It has sleek lines and curves and the overall design is definitely attractive. And for the new Rogue, Nissan has planned a lot of improvements and developments that is expected to improve the style and function of the ride.

Updates

For the 2017 model, the Rogue has gained a new trim, Rogue Sport, which is almost the same as the standard package. It is 12 inches shorter in length with 2.1 inches shorter on the wheelbase. Will this change for the new 2018 Nissan Rogue? Nissan hasn’t said anything about it.

A lot of auto enthusiasts, however, expect that the Rogue won’t experience any visual change. After the refreshment project in 2017, it already has enough interesting appeal. Aside from the great functions, it has all the right modern features. For now, people think that all the modern features and amenities Rogue has are already enough. There is no need for the new Rogue to change the exterior look, the interior cabin, and also the power. But if the new Rogue will remain with the standard design and features, the ride should be coming with cloth upholstery, Bluetooth streaming 17 inch wheels, rearview camera, and also nice audio system.

Engine

The current Rogue is coming with the four cylinder engine with 2.5 liter capacity, delivering 170 hp of power and 175 Nm of torque. A lot of people still expect the new 2018 Nissan Rogue to come with the same engine arrangement. If it is possible, Nissan should be thinking about having a hybrid engine that can pair up the 2.0 liter machine with a powerful electric motor that can deliver 175 hp of power. For the Rogue and possibly Rogue Hybrid, the engine should be using the CVT system as the only option for transmission.

Price and Release Date

Although the company hasn’t said anything about the release of the new Rogue (considering that it will be released as the 2018 model), it is possible to see it available starting from October 2017. The information about the price tag is yet unknown, but it is expected that the new 2018 Nissan Rogue will still close to the current price, which is around $25,000 for the base and $33,000 for the higher trim.
