Camry has been in the auto industry for around 35 years so it is only logical to expect the new 2018 Toyota Camry to come with new styles and performances. And it is a good thing that Toyota has been thinking about doing some cosmetic updates as well as some performance changes. So, what to expect from the new line, after all?
Things to Like and Dislike
Just like other vehicles, there are some things to like and dislike about the ride. For a starter, the new style is looking better – not plain or bland like the previous production. Besides the improved style, the driving enjoyment is boosted as well as the increased safety features. The fuel economy system is definitely better and the reliability is just better.
For the flaws, the sporty SE somehow looks unconvincing which is too bad because Toyota can do it better for the other trims. But in the overall retrospect, having a better style and performance for the 2018 Toyota Camry is definitely better. With the improvement, the mid size sedan has a refreshing style that is better than ever.
For this new 2018 Toyota Camry, there will be four different trims: the LE which is the base, the higher XLE, the sporty SE, and the highest trim XSE. There will be the Camry hybrid with its own line and options. To create a less mainstream sedan design and injects some expressive premium quality, the new Camry will come in wider and firmer stance. The sedan will be an inch lower but with wider and longer construction. The grille comes in a two part design, with tinted blur Toyota badge. For the back area, the shape is somehow more shapely and sculpting.
For the interior cabin, the materials are improved with other options for the colors. The front seat has been redesigned while the materials are coming with a more premium quality. Besides the improved look and comfort, the overall styling is definitely boosted to the higher level.
For this line, Toyota has decided that they are going to use the four cylinder 2.5 liter engine with automatic eight speed transmission for the base trim. For the optional V6 engine with 3.5 liter capacity, it will be paired with automatic six speed transmission.
Further info will be released soon enough. According to the source inside the company, the new 2018 Toyota Camry should be available around summer time in 2017.
