After undergoing some refreshed work in the 2016 model, expect some improvements for the 2018 Toyota Rav4. After all, this vehicle has been designed to tackle adventurous journey easily and in the fun way. It is only logical if you can expect some of the upgrades for the new line, can’t you?
Pros and Cons
When we are talking about the new 2018 Toyota Rav4, there are some aspects to consider – whether you will like it or not. Some of the most favorable aspects are the inclusion of many safety technologies that have been considered as the standard requirement. Not to mention that the interior cabin will be improved with roomier feel. The handle and ride quality will also improve, making the control and driving fun and entertaining. There is also a possibility that hybrid power will be available.
On the other side, there are some of the flaws to be expected from this model. Like the absence of the third row seating can be a put off. You want to accommodate a lot of people (and you know you can do it because of the spacious cabin) and yet there are no seats for them. Bummer, huh? The styles are said to be a bit quirky but if you don’t have a problem with that; that’s fine. The fuel economy remains unimpressive as Toyota should be able to deliver more. But still, if you think about all the positive notes, you can see that this ride is a worthy one.
Toyota has been updating Rav4 in stages. After they are done with the styling in 2016, they are adding new features and also a new Adventure line to the trim. For the Adventure trim, it is said to come with more features, lifted suspension, and also an outdoor look and atmosphere.
It is possible that the new 2018 Toyota Rav4 won’t be coming with changes for the engine so you should expect the new line to come with the inline four 2.5 liter engine, delivering 176 hp of power, that is paired with auto six speed transmission and front wheel driving system. The all wheel driving system is also available.
The new model will be coming in red, white gray, silver, or black for the color. Although there hasn’t been any confirmation about the exact release date and price, the 2018 Toyota Rav4 should hit dealerships around September 2017.
